Privacy notice

Last updated: October 17, 2026

This notice explains how Glacè Srls processes the personal data of people who visit this website and of those who contact us through its forms, in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (“Privacy Code”).

Data controller

Glacè Srls, registered office at Viale Ippocrate 20/22, 00161 Rome, Italy, VAT no. 15074971001. Email: info@glaceproduzione.it, phone: +39 366 3419993.

What data we process and why

  • Browsing data. The servers hosting the website automatically record some technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) to run the site, protect it from abuse and fix problems. We do not use it to identify or profile you. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the operation and security of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Quote and information requests. Name, company or venue, email, phone, type of business and message, to reply to you and, if you ask, prepare an offer. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Job applications (“Careers”). Name, email, phone, position, introduction and CV, to assess your application. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for the data in your CV, Art. 111-bis of the Privacy Code. Please do not include health data or other special categories of data in your CV unless strictly necessary.
  • Applications for the professional gelato course. The form data (first and last name, date of birth, tax code, town of residence, phone, email, education, experience, availability and answers to the questions), to assess the application, organise the course, issue certificates and, for those who wish, consider a possible job for the 2027 season. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Fields marked as required are needed to handle your request: without them we cannot reply. The others are optional. We do not take decisions based solely on automated processing.

How we process the data

The website does not store form data: it sends it by email to the people who handle it. Quote requests and job applications go to Glacè; course applications go to Sam Servizi Srl. Anyone who fills in a form receives a confirmation email. Data is processed electronically, by authorised people and with appropriate security measures.

Who we share the data with

  • Sam Servizi Srl, which runs the professional gelato course together with Glacè and handles applications, enrolment and payments, for course application data only.
  • Providers that help us run the website and receive messages, appointed as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR): Vercel Inc. (website hosting), Resend (sending form emails), Aruba S.p.A. (domain and mailboxes, with servers in Italy).
  • Authorities and public bodies, where required by law.

We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for marketing purposes.

Transfers outside the European Union

Vercel and Resend are based in the United States. Transfers take place under the EU-US adequacy decision (Data Privacy Framework) or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep the data

  • Browsing data: for as long as strictly necessary, normally no more than 30 days, unless needed to investigate unlawful activity.
  • Quote and information requests: for as long as needed to handle them and up to 24 months after the last contact; if you become a client, for the duration of the relationship and the periods required by law (for example 10 years for accounting records).
  • Job applications: up to 24 months, so that we can also consider you for future positions; you can ask us to delete them earlier.
  • Course applications: for the duration of the selection and the course and, afterwards, for the periods required by law in relation to certificates and payments.

Your rights

At any time you can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 GDPR), by writing to info@glaceproduzione.it. For course applications you can also contact Sam Servizi Srl (servizisam@gmail.com). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
